Former Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler joined “Next Up With Mark Halperin” this week, and was lost for words when confronted about his role in covering up the obvious mental decline of Sleepy Joe Biden.
Asked “what conclusion” he reached as a fact-checker after seeing dozens of videos highlighting Biden’s poor mental state, the ex-WAPO writer stuttered and brought up the one instance where the right-wing press may have got a Joe Biden mental gaffe wrong.
Kessler answered by referring to an incident where Biden “meandered off to talk to a parachutist” at last year’s G7 summit, explaining many outlets and social media accounts shared an angle where it looked like the ex-Democrat president had wandered away when he allegedly went to speak with skydivers who’d just landed.

Kessler said, “We went and got the full video in the full context, because it looked like the way it was cut, and particularly distributed by the RNC, it looked like Joe Biden was wandering off and he didn’t show him talking to parachutists. What we showed was that he was talking to parachutists. And I’ve said this before, fact checks are a complement to the news coverage, not a supplement.”
However, a longer video of the G7 skydiving event didn’t make Biden look much better.

Of course, the ex-“fact-checker” completely ignored the litany of bizarre Biden moments where the Democrat appeared completely out of it and struggled to comprehensibly speak.
