An armed creep received a heavy dose of street justice after he grabbed a woman on a New York City subway platform and allegedly attempted to ‘abduct’ her in broad daylight this week, according to reports.
The shocking incident unfolded at around 9 a.m. on Sunday in Brooklyn.
Fredrick Marshall, 42, allegedly attacked a 20-year-old female after following her onto a Manhattan-bound train and then ambushing her when she exited.
Witness footage of the assault and ensuing intervention by vigilantes has been circulating on social media after being posted by TikTok user @nicabori5.
Marshall, clad in a white suit, can purportedly be seen bear-hugging his victim and carrying her down the platform as other men gather around and yell at him to release her.
After the woman escapes, Marshall appears to lunge at her again, prompting bystanders to intervene and deliver a brutal beating.
The Good Samaritans can be seen punching, kicking, and stomping the suspect as the woman escapes and phones a relative.
She was treated for minor injuries at the scene,
“Meanwhile, Marshall, of Queens, was arrested at the scene and found to be carrying a knife and a blackjack,” the New York Post reports, citing law enforcement sources.
Marshall was charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree attempted assault, and second-degree harassment, and released back to the streets.
