Infowars host Alex Jones was listed as a “politically exposed person” in a Justice Department report on the Epstein files Saturday night.

The list, contained in a six-page letter from Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, enumerated over 300 names and has been criticized for featuring bizarre entries including long-dead celebrity entertainers.

“Below is a list of all government officials and ‘politically exposed persons’ named or referenced in the released materials,” Blanche’s letter reads.

“The list includes (as directed by the [Epstein Files Transparency] Act) all persons where (1) they are or were a government official or politically exposed person and (2) their name appears in the files released under the Act at least once. Names appear in the files released under the Act in a wide variety of contexts. For example, some individuals had extensive direct email contact with Epstein or Maxwell while other individuals are mentioned only in a portion of a document (including press reporting) that on its face is unrelated to the Epstein and Maxwell matters,” the DOJ explained.

Jones’ name appears on page 5 of 6.

Infowars reported earlier this month that Jones’ name appeared in the DOJ’s massive Epstein file document dump; however, far from being a co-conspirator, Jones was mentioned as a disruptive threat to the global pedophile power structure.

Alex Jones responded to news of his name being featured in the latest DOJ release.

The DOJ’s list was criticized as a smoke screen for containing names like Janis Joplin, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley, while also featuring the names of prominent legislators who fought for the files to be released.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), who initiated the discharge petition to force the release of the files, criticized the DOJ’s latest report, stating, “The DOJ is once again purposefully muddying the waters on who was a predator and who was mentioned in an email.”

“To have Janis Joplin, who died when Epstein was 17, in the same list as Larry Nassar, who went to prison for the sexual abuse of hundreds of young women and child pornography, with no clarification of how either was mentioned in the files is absurd,” Khanna stated Saturday night, adding, “Release the full files. Stop protecting predators. Redact only the survivor’s names.”
