Violent protesters descended on a federal courthouse in Minneapolis on Wednesday, smashing windows as they chanted, “ICE out now!” following an ICE-involved shooting that left a woman dead.
Footage shows the unruly protesters outside the Diana E. Murphy federal courthouse smash glass on the building’s front doors as they attempted to force their way in.

The protests come as the city’s mayor on Wednesday labeled ICE’s justification for shooting the woman “bullshit” and called on federal agents to leave the city, saying, “To ICE, get the fuck out of our city.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) also threw gas on the flames by refuting the DHS’s explanation the woman was shot in self defense.

President Donald Trump on the other hand weighed in, saying it appeared the officer acted in self defense.
Meanwhile, Gov. Walz has warned the national guard they could be mobilized “if necessary.”
Footage Wednesday showed federal officers approach the woman’s vehicle and order her to get out, at which point she attempts to drive away, striking one of the officers who pulled his gun and shot her.
