CNN anchors expressed shock at the thriving Trump job market in a news segment going viral online Thursday.
“This is better than expected?” asked a CNN reporter, prompting the outlet’s Senior Reporter Matt Egan to respond, “Yeah, Sarah, it is. Look, this job market is like the Energizer Bunny. Every single time we expect it to run out of steam, it just keeps going and going!”

The 147,000 jobs added in the month of June far surpassed the expected 118,000, and the unemployment rate, which was predicted to rise, went down to the “healthy” and “historically low” number 4.1%, Egan reported.
POTUS celebrated the praise by CNN in a Truth Social post.
The economic victory comes as another win for the Trump administration took place Thursday with the passing of the Big, Beautiful Bill.
