Longtime Democrat strategist James Carville said this week that Democrats must take drastic measures to “save Democracy” if they win the presidency and get a Senate and House majority in the 2028 elections.
“The Ragin’ Cajun” made the remarks during the Politics War Room with James Carville & Al Hunt podcast, telling his co-host, “If the Democrats win the presidency, the Senate and the House in 2028, which is not impossible… They are just going to have to unilaterally add Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia as states.”
“And, they may have to expand the [Supreme] Court to thirteen members,” he added, saying, “If you want to save Democracy, I think you’re going to have to do all those things.”
Carville said if Democrats sweep the 2028 elections, “they should do that on day one.”
“Four more United States senators, four more Supreme Court members, and some stringent national legislation on how you can do Congress. They can easily pass a law that says you can only redistrict every ten years,” he said.
The Democrat strategist’s comments show the left is becoming more desperate by the minute as the Trump administration delivers political victories and dismantles their stranglehold on America.
