The official Department of Homeland Security 𝕏 account posted a message on Monday calling out Hilton Hotels for allegedly coordinating to prevent DHS law enforcement from booking rooms at Minneapolis locations.
“When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations,” DHS wrote. “This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?”
In emails provided by the agency, Hilton employees told federal government workers their reservations were canceled due to being connected to “immigration work” and working for ICE.
The ICE 𝕏 account also called out the hotel chain, writing, “Hey Hilton Hotels — why did your team in Minneapolis cancel our federal law enforcement officer and agents’ reservations?”
Infowars reporter Breanna Morello reached out to Hilton for comment regarding the allegations.
The internet is already flooded with calls to boycott the hotels if they don’t properly address the situation ASAP.
