Saturday’s US-Israeli strikes on Iran drew sharp criticism from former pro-Trump congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and others, who argued the attacks undercut President Donald Trump’s promise not to start new wars.

Responding to news of the strikes on social media Saturday morning, Greene – who resigned from Congress last month – said the foreign policy was unrecognizable from the anti-war MAGA promises Trump made during his campaign.

“We said ‘No More Foreign Wars, No More Regime Change!’ We said it on rally stage after rally stage, speech after speech. Trump, Vance, basically the entire admin campaigned on it and promised to put America FIRST and Make America Great Again.”

“My generation has been let down, abused, and used by our government our entire adult lives and our children’s generation is literally being abandoned.”

“Thousands and thousands of Americans from my generation have been killed and injured in never ending pointless foreign wars and we said no more. But we are freeing the Iranian people. Please,” MTG wrote.

“There are 93 million people in Iran, let them liberate themselves. But Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons. Yeah sure,” she continued.

“It’s always a lie and it’s always America Last. But it feels like the worst betrayal this time because it comes from the very man and the admin who we all believed was different and said no more.”

MTG had also expressed sharp disapproval of potential strikes earlier in the week, saying an attack would be the “End of MAGA.”

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) didn’t mince words, declaring, “I am opposed to this War.”

“This is not ‘America First,'” Rep. Massie wrote, adding he would work with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) to force a resolution to allow a vote on the war.

“Acts of war unauthorized by Congress,” the congressman noted in another post earlier Saturday morning.

Infowars’ Alex Jones expressed disappointment and characterized the attacks as a “huge gamble” for President Trump, warning the attacks could activate Iranian terrorist sleeper cells inside the US and pushes the world closer to total nuclear war.

America First host Nick Fuentes took a victory lap after his years-long prediction that the US would join Israel in a war against Iran came true.

Other typically pro-MAGA accounts also raged at the strikes carried out across Iran, including an attack on a girls’ school in the southern city of Minab that Iranian authorities say killed dozens of children.

“NOBODY WANTS THIS WAR,” commented Andrew Tate.

“Traitor,” remarked commentator and comic Dave Smith.

Clips of slain Turning Point Charlie Kirk founder condemning plans for regime change in Iran also circulated on social media.

Meanwhile, other popular pro-Trump (and coincidentally pro-Israel) X accounts appear ecstatic at the potential for a wider war unfolding, as Human Events reports the campaign could last as long as four weeks.

It remains to be seen how Trump’s support fares in light of current events.
