Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin posted a video on social media Thursday announcing his agency will be compiling everything it can regarding the controversial topics of geoengineering and “contrails” amid concerns from millions of Americans and an apparent increase in severe weather events.
“The American public deserves and expects honesty and transparency from their government when seeking answers,” he said. “For years, people who ask questions in good faith were dismissed, even vilified by the media and their own government. That era is over.”
The EPA also revealed a new website for citizens to keep track of its findings on the issues.
The website states, “EPA created these new online resources to communicate everything the agency knows about the latest science, research and other information regarding contrails and geoengineering. EPA is committed to total transparency with the American public on these topics.”
The page also vows to “identify and track private actors potentially engaged in such activities.”
“To anyone who has ever looked up to the streaks in the sky and asked, ‘What the heck is going on?’ or seen headlines about private actors and even governments looking to ‘blot out the sun’ in the name of global warming, we’ve endeavored to answer all of your questions…” he said.
Zeldin added, “In fact, EPA shares many of the same concerns when it comes to potential threats to human health and the environment, especially from solar geoengineering activities.”
The EPA leader also posted a message on the subject, writing, “Americans have questions about geoengineering and contrails. They expect honesty and transparency from their government when seeking answers. For years, people who asked questions in good faith were dismissed, even vilified by the media and their own government. This ends today.”
Leftist media outlets such as the Daily Beast and Mediaite slammed the announcement with headlines such as “Trump EPA Boss Fuels Bonkers MAGA Conspiracies About Floods” and “Trump EPA Honcho Comes to Defense of Americans With ‘Questions’ About Chemtrails.”
The EPA announcement comes just days after President Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples told journalist James O’Keefe that she’s working with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on getting the federal government to investigate the spraying of American skies.
RFK has touched on the topic multiple times himself, telling Dr. Phil in April that he believes most chemical spraying of the U.S. skies is being done by DARPA and commenting on a 2024 social media post about “chemtrails” by stating, “We are going to stop this crime.”
Several states in recent months have passed legislation to ban weather modification projects.
Perhaps a federal ban could be implemented if the EPA reveals the chemical spraying is harmful to humans and the environment.
