A 2016 CNN report that aired on Anderson Cooper 360 is being widely shared online as it exposes mainstream media’s hypocrisy when it comes to immigration enforcement amid the left’s current anti-ICE uprising.

The CNN report, titled, “A day with ICE in the so-called ‘Sanctuary City…'”, was filmed during the Obama administration.
The outlet even admitted agents accidentally arrested one suspect’s brother without even pushing back or criticizing the error.
An ICE agent interviewed by CNN detailed how the agency focuses on capturing and deporting criminal illegals with extensive criminal histories.
Reporter Pamela Brown asked another target apprehended during the exclusive ICE ride-along why he ran from federal officers and what he thought about the government targeting “criminal undocumented immigrants.”
The illegal replied, “That’s good. We really appreciate that because, I mean, sometimes they get people that are not doing anything. Look, I’m over here simply just to work, not to go ahead and break houses, break cars.”
After being screened by ICE on the scene, the detainee was set free as the officers didn’t consider him a threat to the community since he had no criminal history.
CNN later filmed from an ICE-processing facility outside Chicago where illegals were provided documentation explaining the next steps in the deportation process.
The report highlights how drastically mainstream media’s reporting of immigration enforcement has changed since the election of President Donald Trump.
