(LifeSiteNews) — An LGBT activist and former Democratic mayor of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, is facing three more sex crime charges.
Former Pennsylvania mayor Chad-Alan Carr, the founder of a local pro-LGBT group, is currently facing charges that “he solicited a 16-year-old boy for sexual photos and groomed him while Carr worked at the Gettysburg Community Theater,” CBS 21 previously reported.
Now state police have charged him with three additional crimes after more alleged victims have come forward against the founder of “Gettysburg Pride.”
“Three felony charges, including sexual assault and photograph/film/depict on computer sex, and two misdemeanor charges of corruption of minors were filed by the Pennsylvania State Police at Gettysburg against Carr,” ABC 27 reported.
The police are working with counterparts in Texas to extradite Carr, who was in the Lone Star State when the charges were announced. A judge let him out after he posted bail following the first set of accusations.
Law enforcement officials had suggested more accusations could be coming when they first announced the charges against Carr last month, saying he had a history of “inappropriate contact.”
ABC 27 reported on accusations from three more accusers:
Troopers said one of the individuals who recently came forward was a minor when they met Carr. The individual described being sexually assaulted by Carr at Carr’s apartment after Carr offered them alcohol after the two met on Grindr in October 2015. Despite being told “no” by the victim multiple times, Carr allegedly sexually assaulted them.
A second alleged victim, who was 18 at the time, reported they were sexually assaulted while they were living with Carr at Carr’s Gettysburg Borough Apartment between December 2014 and October [2015], according to the criminal complaint. The victim reported meeting Carr at a play.
The news outlet reported that Carr also reportedly “groomed” another alleged victim and “requested the victim to send him explicit pictures.”
The Democrat former mayor is one of several cases in the last few years of homosexuals being arrested for abusing children, trying to obtain children to abuse them, or otherwise committing child abuse, including the former mayor of College Park, Maryland – also a Democrat – who was charged with possession of child sexual abuse material in 2023.
A judge sentenced Patrick Wojahn, the former Maryland mayor, to 30 years in prison.
