Central Intelligence Agency Director John Ratcliffe released a report on Wednesday describing in detail what millions of Americans have known for nearly ten years by revealing the Obama administration engaged in a “politically charged” witch-hunt targeting President Trump following the 2016 presidential election.
Obama-era CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James Comey and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper determined that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to help Donald Trump win using a process tainted by a pro-Hillary Clinton “political motive.”
The Ratcliffe review found that former President Barack Obama ordered the “Trump-Russia collusion” assessment six weeks before the end of his presidency.
“A highly compressed production timeline, stringent compartmentation, and excessive involvement of agency heads” led to “departures from standard practices in the drafting, coordination, and reviewing of the” 2016 report.
The entire operation was rushed beyond typical intelligence community timelines, and Brennan’s inclusion of the highly discredited “Steele Dossier” came at the objection of the CIA’s most senior Russia experts, which “undermined the credibility” of the assessment.
The Obama officials also reportedly leaked information to the press to deliberately influence analysts so they’d push a false narrative supporting the phony Trump-Russia collusion.
Ratcliffe told the New York Post in an exclusive interview, “This was Obama, Comey, Clapper and Brennan deciding ‘We’re going to screw Trump.’ It was, ‘We’re going to create this and put the imprimatur of an IC assessment in a way that nobody can question it.’ They stamped it as Russian collusion and then classified it so nobody could see it.”
The CIA head added, “This led to Mueller [special counsel Robert Mueller’s inquiry, which concluded after two years that there was no Trump-Russia collusion]. It put the seal of approval of the intelligence community that Russia was helping Trump and that the Steele dossier was the scandal of our lifetime. It ate up the first two years of his [Trump’s first] presidency.”
Posting to 𝕏, Ratcliffe wrote, “All the world can now see the truth: Brennan, Clapper and Comey manipulated intelligence and silenced career professionals — all to get Trump. Thank you to the career @CIA officers who conducted this review and exposed the facts.”
Former Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn also posted about the findings, writing, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! @JohnBrennan needs to be put under investigation immediately. The newly declassified CIA Tradecraft Review of the 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) proves without a shadow of a doubt that the entire operation was a rigged, partisan hack job. It wasn’t intelligence, it was propaganda meant to undermine the incoming @POTUS!”
“And here’s the kicker: some of the intelligence actually suggested that RUSSIA MAY HAVE PREFERRED HILLARY CLINTON. Let that sink in,” he continued. “Everything they accused @realDonaldTrump , myself, and others of doing, THEY were doing behind the scenes. That’s what Marxists do. And while they pushed their fiction, real Americans paid the price.”
Flynn tagged AG Pam Bondi, basically asking her to open an investigation into the matter.
