Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, the former Army National Guardsman who was imprisoned for attempting to provide material support to ISIS, shot and killed one person, injuring two more during an attack on Old Dominion University.
When Jalloh began shooting in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) class, several brave cadets went after the attacker and one of them killed the assailant by stabbing him with a knife.
Dominique Evans, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Norfolk Office, told the press on Thursday, “There were students in that room that subdued him, and rendered him no longer alive, I don’t know how else to say it, they basically were able to terminate the threat,” adding, “if not for them, I’m not sure, you know, what else he would have done.”
The sole casualty in the shooting was Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, the leader of Old Dominion’s ROTC program and an Iraq war veteran.
The ROTC students received widespread online praise for their bravery, including a wave of epic memes celebrating their heroism.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that the person who rammed his vehicle into a Jewish synagogue in Michigan on Thursday was Ayman Ghazaleh, who reportedly had family members killed by Israeli strikes on Lebanon in recent weeks.
The Guardian reports the suspect “lost two brothers, a niece and a nephew in the airstrike.”
Law enforcement officials said Ghazaleh was armed with a rifle and filled his vehicle with a large amount of explosives.
Many internet users sympathized with Ghazaleh in comments on an Instagram page sharing an article about the synagogue attack.
As Infowars reported on Thursday, in recent weeks, a pro-Iran Muslim terrorist shot and killed revelers at an Austin, Texas, bar, a Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville, Tennessee, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was forced to divert to Atlanta when a man threatened to âbombâ the airplane and shouted âAllahu Akbar,â and a pair of Muslim teenagers tried to kill conservative activist Jake Lang with a nail bomb.
The NYPD also investigated a suspicious package near Mayor Zohran Mamdaniâs Gracie Mansion residence this week, Kansas City International Airport in Missouri was evacuated on Sunday due to a bomb threat, and Virginiaâs Reagan National Airport was evacuated on Thursday due to a suspicious package.
Meanwhile, the FBI alerted police departments in California this week that Iran may be set to launch drone attacks âagainst unspecified targets in Californiaâ just as the U.S. Army revealed on Monday that four military drones were stolen from Fort Campbell last November.
While the left rushes to call for more gun control amid the tragic events, itâs more crucial than ever for Americans to exercise their Second Amendment rights, stay vigilant and be prepared to defend themselves and others from violent extremists.
