CNN commentator Scott Jennings caused an uproar this week during a panel discussion on the SAVE Act, which was passed by the U.S. House on Wednesday.

Democratic strategist Alencia Johnson claimed the bill would “take voting rights away from a lot of black people” in America, but failed to explain how when repeatedly asked by Jennings.

Jennings also pointed out the vast majority of black and Hispanic Americans agree people should have to show their identification in order to vote in elections.

CNN anchor Abby Phillip chimed in, saying the SAVE Act isn’t just about voter ID and that it’s also “about proof of citizenship.”

Of course, it has been well documented that many illegal aliens are able to obtain driver’s licenses and other forms of photo ID, so it’s reasonable that America would like to confirm people are citizens before allowing them to vote.

Phillip’s comment suggests Democrats want to prevent the Trump administration from blocking illegal aliens from voting.

Next, Phillip and other panelists said the bill would make it more difficult for “women, red state voters and poor white voters” to cast ballots.

“Yeah, I know you think they’re dumb too, don’t ya?” Jennings asked, causing the leftist panel members to meltdown. “You’re saying married women, black voters and rural people are too stupid to figure out how to register to vote.”

Rep. Bryan Steil (R-Wisc.) noted on Fox Business that Americans have to show ID to purchase alcohol, saying, “I just think it’s NUTS that we protect our beer more than our ballots.”

Democrat propaganda bashing the act clearly isn’t working as around 80% of Americans agree with voter ID.
