Several videos out of Portland, Oregon, this week expose the Portland Police Department’s failure to assist Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in dealing with violent Antifa extremists who are consistently trying to disrupt federal deportation efforts.
Officers were filmed collaborating with Antifa radicals by accepting footage of DHS agents using pepper spray in order to launch investigations and potentially prosecute officers for their actions.
Journalist and Antifa expert Andy Ngo commented, “I wish the Portland Police had put half the effort into helping victims of Antifa violence as they are assisting people who get pepper sprayed while attacking federal property or agents.”
Another video shows Antifa rioters arguing with Portland police officers about their “medical gear” being swept by law enforcement, with one cop groveling to the commies, who appeared to be more in charge of the situation than the police.
Also during the Portland protests, an officer told a journalist that the Antifa disrupters have the “First Amendment” right to block public streets.
“We are asking them to not be in the street if they can, that may change, but as of right now they’re allowed to take up the street space because they’re practicing their First Amendment right to protest. We don’t want to infringe on that right,” he stated.
Earlier this week, the Portland Police Department openly protected Antifa leftists who were shining spotlights into the eyes of DHS agents trying to hit rowdy rioters with pepper and rubber bullet rounds.
Journalist Nick Sortor joined Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle where he broke down the Antifa and Portland Police Department alliance that has put federal agents in danger.
The local law enforcement failure is exactly why the Trump administration wants to deploy the National Guard for protecting DHS and ICE officers trying to engage in deportation operations.
Sortor also captured footage inside Antifa’s never-before-seen Portland safehouse, located just down the street from the ICE facility.
Photos of flyers outside the federal facility show Antifa posted images and descriptions of journalists so activists could “be on the lookout” for them, which also clearly puts the media in danger.
This week, a judge on the ninth circuit court of appeals requested a vote on whether Trump should be allowed to deploy Oregon National Guard troops to Portland.
