CNN host Abby Phillip absurdly told viewers this week that the teenage pro-ISIS Muslim terrorists who tried to assassinate conservative activist Jake Lang with a homemade nail bomb last weekend were actually targeting New York City’s Socialist Muslim Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Phillip said, “Two Republicans say, ‘Muslims don’t belong here,’ after an attempted attack against New York’s Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and the House Speaker Mike Johnson says nothing, really, to condemn those comments.

In reality, Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, and Emir Balat, 18, who pledged allegiance to ISIS and recently visited the Middle East, were arrested on Saturday for tossing an improvised explosive device at Lang during a protest outside New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s house.
