An article out of leftist magazine The Atlantic on Thursday alleged “at least six” high-level Trump admin officials have recently moved into homes on military bases near Washington, D.C. where they’re “shielded” from political violence, such as the recent public assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

The piece called the news “an ominous marker of the nation’s polarization,” blaming the Trump administration for contributing to the division.

Despite only learning of six Trump admin appointees reportedly residing in the military base homes, the liberal publication accused them of “straining the availability of housing for the nation’s top uniformed officers.”

White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and others are among those said to be living in the houses.

Domestic terror threats from the increasingly violent left are not the only worries for the Trump officials, as the magazine noted, “Another senior White House official, whom The Atlantic is not naming because of security concerns related to a specific foreign threat, also vacated a private home for a military installation after Kirk’s murder.”

The Atlantic suggested the Trump White House is engaged in the “blurring of traditional boundaries between the civilian and military worlds” as POTUS deploys “National Guard forces to Washington, Los Angeles, and other cities run by Democrats.”

The magazine did admit the civilian officials are paying a “fair market” rent price for their base homes and that they might even be saving the government money because the living situation “can reduce the cost of providing personal security to officials,” as “protective teams do not need to rent a second location nearby as a staging area.”

While mentioning the fact that the Trump administration recently designated the radical leftist group Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, the article falsely claimed Antifa is not an organization, and insinuated they’re not a threat to any of the president’s appointees.

Alex Jones on Thursday also pointed out the officials may be living on the bases in order to be near protective bunkers in case the U.S. comes under nuclear attack.
