When the show hosts tried to get Smith to retract statements he made during a recent rant against Democrat Senator Mark Kelly (Ariz.) for telling U.S. military and intelligence agency members to defy presidential orders, the sports broadcaster refused to back down.

Instead, he embarrassed her on her own show.
After Hostin played footage of Smith chastising Senator Mark Kelly about the video stunt, she tried to force him into walking it back.

In his rant earlier in the week, Smith told Kelly he knows better than to encourage military members to engage in insubordination against the commander-in-chief, noting the politician could have filed paperwork in Congress or filed articles of impeachment if he really thought POTUS was giving illegal orders.
He continued to point out Democrats already impeached President Trump twice, and that the move backfired by getting him reelected and handing Republicans control of both the House and Senate.
“I’d love to give you the opportunity to perhaps change your position on what you said,” said “View” host Sunny Hostin.
“I’m not changing a thing,” Smith quickly responded, adding, “I didn’t stutter when I said it.”
During another show segment, Smith criticized the Democrat Party for relentlessly attacking Trump with charges that never stuck and encouraged the left to focus more on “winning” issues such as “affordability and safety.”
The ESPN commentator also said more Democrats should display a willingness to work across the aisle with Republicans on matters both parties can agree on in order to help the American people.

Whoopi and the cast of The View did not like it one bit.
Producers quickly cut to commercial and ended the segment.

After the left-wing show hosts suggested President Trump has cognitive problems, Smith dismissed the accusation and pointed out he’s still POTUS despite all the establishment attacks against him.
With the end of Trump’s second term approaching, Smith said Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are the next individuals Democrats have to worry about, saying the president is positioning himself “to remain in power even if he isn’t the president” by helping one of his underlings become the next person sitting in the Oval Office.

While Smith is by no means a Trump supporter, he is offering Democrats sound advice when it comes to his critiques of the left’s losing playbook.
