Are America and China in the middle of a biowar?

The DOJ announced on Wednesday that a trio of Chinese nationals conducting research at a University of Michigan laboratory were charged for conspiring “to smuggle biological materials into the United States and for making false statements to U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers.”

FBI Director Kash Patel wrote, “These charges show the FBI and our partners will aggressively investigate and hold accountable those who violate our laws, and that academic research cannot excuse illegal activity.”

“The Chinese nationals charged today allegedly were involved in smuggling biological materials into the US on several occasions. The FBI and our partners are committed to defending the homeland and stopping any illegal smuggling into our country,” Patel added.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said, “Allegedly attempting to smuggle biological materials under the guise of ‘research’ is a serious crime that threatens America’s national and agricultural security. We will remain vigilant to threats like these from foreign nationals who would take advantage of America’s generosity to advance a malicious agenda.”

Xu Bai, 28, Fengfan Zhang, 27 and Zhiyong Zhang, 30, were research scholars holding J-1 visas while conducting research at the UM laboratory of Xianzhong Xu, commonly referred to as the Shawn Xu laboratory.

Bai and F. Zhang allegedly received multiple shipments containing concealed biological materials related to roundworms with “genetic modifications” sent from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to the United States by Chinese national Chengxuan Han.

“At some point, pattern becomes practice. And, apparently, these three men are part of a long and alarming pattern of criminal activities committed by Chinese Nationals under the cover of the University of Michigan. This is a threat to our collective security. We are thankful for the vigilance of our elite federal partners—ICE HSI, FBI, and CBP—as a counterweight against this threat,” said United States Attorney Jerome Gorgon.

In June, Infowars covered Han’s arrest for attempting to sneak the “biological materials” into the U.S. via mail and lying about the packages after arriving at a Detroit airport from China.

At the time, Han was the third PRC-connected individual to have been arrested in a matter of days.

Yunqing Jian, 33, and Zunyong Liu, 34, were also arrested in June for smuggling a fungus dubbed a “potential agroterrorism weapon” by scientific literature into the U.S.

ZeroHedge reported, “Fusarium graminearum isn’t your garden-variety mold. It causes ‘head blight,’ a disease that can devastate staple crops, costing global agriculture billions annually.  Worse, its toxins induce vomiting, liver damage, and reproductive issues in humans and animals. In the wrong hands, it’s a bioweapon straight out of a Pentagon threat assessment.”

With COVID-19 allegedly being created in and launched from China, and now this, is it possible the CHICOMs are engaged in active biowarfare against the United States?
