On Tuesday President Donald Trump posted an image of a wind turbine farm with a dead bird lying on the ground. Wind turbines are not only poor electricity generators, but are also deadly to birds who inadvertently fly into the spinning blades.
His caption read “Windmills are killing all of our beautiful Bald Eagles!”
Infowars compiled a video report in 2017 detailing the major pitfalls of this form of electricity generation:

In 2011 Infowars reported how wind turbines are unreliable power generators, bringing their usefulness into doubt:
Wind farms are failing to produce electricity when the temperatures drop, costing billions of pounds and potentially leading to blackouts, leading industrialists warned this week.
Much more tragic however is the threat they pose to avian life. In 2012 Infowars reported on protests that were held against the deadly machines:
An anti-Occupy Wall Street movement (who call themselves “Occupy Occupy D.C.”) protested bird killing wind turbines today at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. The group gathered “to highlight the threat that wind, a celebrated alternative energy source, poses to the American bird community,” according to a press release sent out by the National Center for Public Policy Research, which sponsors Occupy Occupy D.C.
The target of today’s protest are environmentalists who believe wind energy is a viable substitute to other forms of energy, such as coal or nuclear energy.
The National Center for Public Policy Research “estimate[s] that wind turbines kill approximately 100,000 birds every year. The American Bird Conservancy claims the number could be triple that estimate — affecting the songbird community most of all.”
In 2020 Infowars reported on a study which detailed how wind turbines even negatively affect people’s sleep due to their auditory effects:
Wind turbine noise (WTN) influences people’s perception of the restorative effects of sleep, and also has a small but significant effect on dream sleep, otherwise known as REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, a study at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, shows. A night of WTN resulted in delayed and shortened REM sleep.
Also in 2020, Infowars reported on the negative ecological impact of the turbines, which pile up at landfills due to their lack of recyclability. Perhaps even more hypocritically, it’s been discovered that wind farms actually cause climate change – a phenomenon their proponents claim to be fighting.
