The Trump administration has arrested two more individuals for their involvement in a protest at a Minnesota church led by anti-ICE demonstrators, including former CNN anchor Don Lemon.

“If you riot in a place of worship, we WILL find you,” Bondi wrote on X on Monday.

“We have made two more arrests in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota: Ian Davis Austin and Jerome Deangelo Richardson.”

A total of nine people have now been arrested in connection with the incident. Former  CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested on Friday while in Los Angeles to cover the Grammy Awards.

Prosecutors claimed that Lemon, 59, “knowingly joined a mob to terrorize” the congregation at Cities Church in St. Paul. He was released on Saturday on a no-money bail.

As well as Lemon, Richardson, and Austin, a federal indictment names Nekima Valdez Levy-Armstrong; Chauntyll Louisa Allen; William Scott Kelly; Trahern Jeen Crews; Jamael Lydell Lundy; and Georgia Ellyse Fort as defendants in the case.

Allen, Armstrong, and Kelly are all local Black Lives Matter leaders in Minnesota.

All nine have been charged with conspiracy against rights and interfering with freedom to worship by seeking “to injure, oppress, threaten, and intimidate multiple persons, including the clergy, staff, and congregants of the Cities Church.”

A group of protesters met outside the Cities Church before barging inside and accusing the pastor, David Easterwood, of being a member of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

After his release on bond, Lemon spoke outside a courthouse in downtown Los Angeles and vowed to continue fighting.

“I will not stop now. I will not stop ever,” Lemon said.

“In fact, there is no more important time but right now, this very moment, for a free and independent media that shines a light on truth and holds those in power accountable.”

Lemon said the Department of Justice (DOJ) arrested him “for something I’ve been doing for the last 30 years, and that is covering the news.”

He accused the DoJ of wanting to “silence” him and violate his Constitutional rights.

“The First Amendment of the Constitution protects that work for me and for countless other journalists who do what I do. I stand with all of them and I will not be silenced. I look forward to my day in court.”
