The strike took place on Friday, against Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.
Two of the servicemembers were seriously injured.
On Friday, US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that 303 US servicemembers have been injured during Operation Epic Fury, the joint US-Israeli military campaign against Iran, which began on 28 February.
According to CENTCOM, 273 of those servicemembers have now returned to duty.
At the G7 meeting in France on Friday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio told European leaders the war with Iran will last a further two-to-four weeks.
According to Axios and unnamed sources, “This is the first time a senior U.S. official suggested the war would continue beyond the four to six-week timeframe President Trump has discussed since the war started.”
At the G7 meeting in France, Rubio is reported to have said the US is now very close to holding serious negotiations with Iran.
Rubio said the US intends to achieve all of its objectives in the war.
At present, the US is engaging with Iran via mediators, sources said, and there is significant uncertainty about who is actually responsible for making decisions in Iran.
“Rubio said it’s hard for the mediators to communicate with Iranian officials because they are staying away from their phones out of fear they will be located and assassinated,” Axios reports.
“That has slowed the pace of communications.”
G7 representatives are said to have agreed with Rubio’s proposal that European nations escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz, or simply maintain a presence there, “to show the Iranian they don’t control the Strait.”
Vice President JD Vance is widely expected to lead the US negotiations with Iran; although Rubio, Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff will also be involved.
