A top U.S. official confirmed that a London-based music group has been banned from entering the United States after their singer made “grotesque” comments about the murder of Christian icon Charlie Kirk.
Rap-punk duo Bob Vylan was performing on Saturday at Paradiso in Amsterdam when singer Pascal Robinson-Foster unleashed a shocking tirade about Kirk and his assassination as a large segment of the audience cheered.
“I want to dedicate this next one to an absolute piece of s**t of a human with the pronouns was/were. If you talk s**t, you will get banged,” Robinson-Foster yelled while make a gun-shooting hand gesture.
“Rest in piss, Charlie Kirk, you piece of s**t.”
Footage of the deplorable rant has gone viral and attracted the attention of the Department of State.
“Rest assured that the [State Department] has revoked his visa so at least he will not be engaging in his grotesque diatribes on American soil,” Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau announced on X on Sunday.
Landau’s statement is a reminder that the band’s privilege to travel to the U.S. was nullified after they led a “death to the IDF” chant at the Glastonbury music festival in June, forcing them to cancel a planned North America tour.
On Thursday, Landau warned swift action would be taken against foreign nationals who glorify Kirk’s killing or other acts of political violence.
“In light of yesterday’s horrific assassination of a leading political figure, I want to underscore that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country. I have been disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action,” Landau stated.
“Please feel free to bring such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the [State Department] can protect the American people.”
