Footage shows an Iranian drone smashing into the United States Consulate building in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday.
A man filmed the moment the drone made contact, with a loud humming engine getting closer before a massive boom filled the air.
Smoke was seen billowing from the location of the strike as the man filming told bystanders to “leave from there” and exit the area.
CNN later reported there were somehow no injuries from the explosion.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters, “The drone struck a parking lot adjacent to the chancellery building and set off a fire in that place. All personnel are accounted for. We began drawing down personnel from our diplomatic facilities in advance of this.”
