The perplexed kids aren’t even sure what the term “horny” means, and yet the gay dads, instead of expressing disgust that the question has been asked of their young children, chortle with delight.
The same couple — Grammy award winning country music singer and songwriter Shane McAnally and “husband” Michael Baum — sparked massive criticism across the internet last week after they posted a video of themselves mocking their surrogate-born baby for crying “mama.”
“This is the same man who laughed at his infant son crying for a mother he’ll never have,” wroteJosh Wood, Executive Director of the global children’s rights organization Them Before Us.
“These children deserve better,” added Woods.
One X user asked, “Exactly how is that a child that age should know or even be asked that question?”
“When the only adults in the home share the same unchecked instincts, kids grow up in a hyper sexualized environment,” said Katy Faust, founder and CEO of Them Before Us.
“Women moderate,” explained Faust. “Take mom out of the equation, and what should be filtered for children becomes normalized around them.”

“Absolutely disgusting and completely not normal,” observed conservative commentator and podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey.
“I have never seen a mom and dad make a video like this,” she declared.
In the highly disturbing video that was brought to light last week, when the couple’s baby boy says “Mama,” Baum says, “Nope! There is no mama,” causing the baby to pout and cry.
Both men then laugh.
In another social media post, the mocking men posted a photo of their baby boy with the caption, “6 week old homophobic baby.”
“Who films their child crying and uploads it to the internet? And who subjects a child to their pathetic vanity like this?” wondered Surrogacy Concern, an organization that seeks to end the evils of surrogacy. “Babies need their birth mothers.”
