Footage captured the moment a missile fell right near RT journalists as they filmed a report on the Iran war, with the Israeli military being blamed.

The incident happened in southern Lebanon as reporter Steve Sweeney filmed a live segment discussing recent bombardments in the area.

Video shows Sweeney speaking to a camera wearing a “press” vest and mentioning various strikes when a noise overhead grew louder.

As Sweeney looked up, he immediately tried to duck for cover before the missile dropped right near him causing an explosion.

The reporter says he and his cameraman “miraculously survived” and were being treated at a hospital, according to the BBC.

In another report, an RT correspondent blamed Israel for the attack and said they were “deliberately” targeted despite wearing vests designating them as journalists.

In an update, Sweeney said he had a piece of shrapnel removed from his arm and emphasized the strike was “a deliberate, targeted attack on journalists.”

“There’s no mistake about it. This was an Israeli precision strike from a fighter jet,” Sweeney said, noting he’d been reporting on bridge attacks cutting off parts of Lebanon from the rest of the country.
