Republican operative Roger Stone threw down the gauntlet for former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon to fight him in a bare-knuckle boxing match during a recent appearance on fighting network DAZN.
Joining an announcer in the ring, Stone said he’d like to take on Bannon after the former Trump admin figure testified in court against him in 2019.

“Look, I love bare-knuckle fighting. But it’s a place that settles scores,” Stone said. “Steve Bannon testified against me, then tried to lock me up. Then he turns out to be a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein as his new emails show. And now he’s pushing communist Chinese AI.”
“I’m calling this bloated, drug-addled, phony out to meet me in the ring. Only one of us will leave standing up,” Stone said, adding, “Come on, Steve. Let’s do it.”
On X, Stone wrote, “I called out Stinky Steve Bannon—who perjured himself at my Soviet-style show trial as Mueller’s star witness against me, who was pedo Jeffrey Epstein’s associate, and who is currently pushing for Chinese Communist AI—to meet me in the @BareKnuckleFC ring mano a mano.”
In a post last month, Stone said the match was first conceived by “the folks at Bare Knuckle Fighting,” to be held “tentatively” at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
