An illegal alien unleashed into the U.S. by the Biden regime has been charged with kidnapping and raping a female victim in a quiet Missouri college town.
On Monday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a press release urging authorities in Adair County to not release Cristian Lopez-Gomez, a 25-year-old Honduran national in local custody.
Lopez-Gomez is accused of unlawfully restraining a woman and forcing her to have sex with him in Kirksville on Easter Sunday, according to court documents reviewed by local media.
The Honduran is being held at Adair County Jail on charges of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping.
Lopez-Gomez illegally entered the country in 2024 under circumstances that remain unclear and was subsequently released into the interior.
He did not have a prior criminal history in the U.S. at the time of his arrest, DHS says.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer against Lopez-Gomez.
“This animal kidnapped and raped a woman in Missouri on Easter Sunday. This sexual predator was RELEASED into our country by the Biden administration in 2024. ICE lodged an arrest detainer requesting Missouri not release this monster back into our communities to rape and assault more innocent women,” said DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“Thankfully, Missouri cooperates with ICE law enforcement. When state and local law enforcement work with ICE, we can safely remove criminal illegal aliens from our country and put the safety of American citizens first.”
