Federal immigration authorities will soon be patrolling in vehicles emblazoned with new “ICE” logos and mottos, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has revealed.
On Thursday, DHS unleashed a video showcasing SUVs and pickup trucks bearing the striking designs.
The dark blue vehicles feature the seal of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in gold, unique striping, and the phrase “Defend the Homeland” painted in large letters along their sides.
“President Donald J. Trump” stickers are also placed on rear windows of the vehicles.
“Iced out,” a caption on DHS social media posts reads.
The vehicles will be rolled out very soon in Washington, D.C. amid a historic crackdown on crime and degradation in the sanctuary city, sources told the New York Post this week.
They will eventually be deployed across the U.S. to supplement the agency’s existing fleet.
“ICE is a law enforcement agency, and like all other law enforcement agencies has a fleet of vehicles that includes those with ICE branding,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told The Post.
“Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill, ICE finally has the resources to grow its workforce to support ICE’s mission, and that will include all types of additional vehicles.”
The conspicuous markings could invite additional violence against ICE property and agents, who are already facing a 1,000% increase in assaults since last year.
“This will only raise officer-involved incidents in the streets because people will target the vehicles,” an ICE source told The Post.
Another ICE source warned it will be “like having a bullseye.”
Illegal aliens and radical leftists have become increasingly brazen in their resistance to immigration law enforcement.
