“Federal and state law enforcement officials also are examining leftist groups in Utah to see whether they had knowledge of the alleged shooter's plans beforehand, or if they lent material support to him afterward,” Axios said

The FBI is not ruling out the involvement of co-conspirators in the murder of Charlie Kirk.

On Twitter, Benny Johnson said he had spoken with a “top FBI official who made it very clear that they have NOT ruled out co-conspirators in Charlie Kirk’s assassination.”

“That assumption is premature,” the official told Johnson.

“This investigation is just beginning. An enormous amount of evidence has been seized both digital and physical.”

Johnson added that “FBI sources assure me the public will ‘know everything’ about the dark internet history, chats and affiliations of Kirk’s left-wing political assassin.

“The source then alluded to some online groups attempting to delete or destroy evidence.”

“We have everything,” the source is reported to have told Johnson. “We are focused on the radicalization element. The truth will not be hidden, or buried or classified. The public will know.”

Axios has also reported that law enforcement is looking into the involvement of radical leftist groups in Utah.

“Federal and state law enforcement officials also are examining leftist groups in Utah to see whether they had knowledge of the alleged shooter’s plans beforehand, or if they lent material support to him afterward,” Axios said.

“One of those groups eliminated its social media profile after the shooting.”

Users on Twitter have been speculating about the involvement of particular groups, including “Armed Queers Salt Lake City,” which wiped its social-media profile after the murder.

Authorities are also investigating whether the transgender roommate and romantic partner of Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk, holds the key to understanding his motivation for the killing.

Investigators now believe that Robinson was angry at Kirk for his beliefs about transgenderism, and that this anger may explain why he decided to kill him.

Investigators believe Robinson and the roommate were romantically involved. The roommate is transitioning from male to female.

An official told Fox News that the roommate is currently being “extremely cooperative,” and appears to have had “no idea” of Robinson’s plans to assassinate Kirk.

FBI agents have removed a large quantity of evidence from their shared apartment, including computers, which has been sent to Quantico for analysis.

Robinson apparently sent the roommate text messages after the shooting in which he described the shooting and mentioned hiding his rifle wrapped in a towel. He also told the roommate that the rifle would have to be retrieved.

“It’s pretty clear that Robinson’s roommate knew a lot and didn’t say anything after the killing, so they’re a person of interest officially and are cooperating,” a second official said.

“We want to keep it that way.”

“What we want to know is if anyone else had knowledge [of the shooting], before or after,” the official added.

A family member of the roommate, identified as Lance Twiggs, told Wisconsin Right Now that Twiggs is “very angry with anyone who is supportive of conservative ideals and Christian values.”

“As far as I know, he was not going by another name. I just know he was in the process of transitioning. I know he was trying to take different medications,” alleged the relative of Lance, whom the family member had avoided for about four years out of concern over Twiggs’ alleged temperament.

The family member said they heard second-hand from other family members that Lance had allegedly “wished horrible things on people. I’ve really distanced. There was (allegedly) evil inside and only getting worse.”
