Image Credit: x screenshot New Mexico state legislators launched an investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous Zorro Ranch on Tuesday, seeking more information about what took place at the sprawling property after numerous people claimed they’d been sexually abused and sex trafficked there.
One allegation, stemming from a redacted DOJ email suggested two “foreign girls” were buried on the property.
A bizarre email from the Epstein files described the “Zorro Trust” winning an $80 million lottery ticket in New Mexico.
A recent aerial examination of the property found what appears to be industrial vents with steel grates, hinting at a potential underground tunnel network.
The New Mexico resolution hopes to investigate claims that the ranch was an “instrumentality of serious criminal activity” which had escaped examination by state or local officials before statutes of limitations expired.
Democrat New Mexico State Rep. Andrea Romero said Epstein “was basically doing anything he wanted in this state without any accountability whatsoever” and that there’s no indication the FBI ever searched the property.
Former Texas state senator and current comptroller candidate Don Huffines purchased the ranch in 2023 at a public auction where the proceeds were supposed to be given to Epstein victims, according to lawyers representing the deceased pedophile’s estate.
Huffines’ spokesperson Allen Blakemore recently told the press that the new ranch owner had yet to be approached by law enforcement looking to access the property but would fully cooperate with an investigation.
The Huffines family renamed the property San Rafael Ranch, with Don explaining on social media this week, “What the enemy once meant for evil, God can redeem for good. That’s why we renamed the property San Rafael, after the saint associated with physical and spiritual healing, and began plans immediately to remake it as a Christian retreat, reclaiming it for Jesus. Even the new entrance will reflect that mission and will read, ‘BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO COME IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.’”
Huffines further discussed his goal of turning the ranch into a Christian retreat during a recent OAN interview.
