Federal immigration authorities rounded up a slew of vicious criminals and sex predators who are illegally present in the U.S. on Monday.
The Department of Homeland Security has issued a press release highlighting some of the most dangerous illegal aliens arrested on Mar. 30.
Name: Carlos Capurro
Nationality: Peru
Convictions: Aggravated sexual assault of a victim under 13-years-old and hindering apprehension or prosecution in Essex County, New Jersey
Name: Martin Feliciano Barragan-Rojas
Nationality: Mexico
Convictions: Aggravated kidnapping while committing unlawful detention and aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Hurricane, Utah
Name: Sergio Javier Portillo-Perez
Nationality: El Salvador
Convictions: Assault with a deadly weapon, threatening crime with intent to terrorize, and false imprisonment in Fairfield, California
Name: Francisco Velardo-Vasquez
Nationality: Mexico
Conviction: Assault with a firearm in Van Nuys, California
Name: Shawn Kaleffe Graham
Nationality: Jamaica
Conviction: Robbery in Galveston County, Texas
“Despite constant smears from sanctuary politicians and the media, the brave men and women of ICE will not be deterred from removing criminal illegal aliens from our communities,” said DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“Just yesterday, ICE arrested pedophiles, kidnappers, violent assailants and other depraved monsters. Next time you see an ICE officer, thank them for their service to our nation and for making America safe again.”
Yesterday, BorderHawk.news asked the White House about concerns the administration may be relaxing its approach to interior enforcement and mass deportations.
“While there has of course been a change in leadership at the Department of Homeland Security with former senator, now Secretary Mullin joining the President’s cabinet, I can assure the American people there has not been a change in policy,” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated.
“It has always been the policy of this President and this administration to deport the worst of the worst illegal alien criminals from our communities. That’s something I know Secretary Mullin remains wholeheartedly committed to doing, and it’s something that is overwhelmingly popular with the American people.”
