Journalist Lara Logan interviewed former Venezuelan embassy worker and Latin American political expert Martin Rodil this week for a discussion covering the history of Venezuela, its cartel and military structure, ties to U.S. election rigging, the Trump administration’s capture of Nicolás Maduro and much more.
At one point, Logan described the Latin American nation as having the power to determine “the outcomes of elections in more than 70 countries in the world,” including America.
“So whether it’s control of the House, control of the Senate, not just control of the White House, they’re installing people that they want to see in those positions, not necessarily the people the American people have chosen, because they’re able to affect the outcomes of our elections on every single level,” she stated.

Logan continued to point out the corrupt Venezuelan leadership is aligned with nearly every American adversary, “whether it’s the CCP or the North Koreans or the Iranians, is partnered with the Venezuelans.”
“They’re able to buy off American officials, infiltrate the government, from the National Security Council to the White House, completely infiltrated, run it by Cuban intelligence, one of the most sophisticated intelligence operations, organizations worldwide,” she said of the cartel-run Venezuelan government.
