Supporters of the Iranian regime called for the assassination of President Donald Trump as the U.S. weighs possible strikes on the Middle East country.
The Sun reports demonstrators were seen on state TV carrying a protest sign referencing the 2024 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, along with an image of Trump shot at the event.

The sickening reference to the shooting was proudly displayed at a state-organised event in Tehran on Wednesday.
Chants of “death to America!” were also heard at the rallies.

Following the assassination attempt, claims circulated that Iran could have orchestrated the attack, however, the rumors were never substantiated.
News of protesters’ opposition to Trump comes as the U.S. reportedly weighs military strikes on the Middle East state, after President Trump advised the regime not to kill any additional anti-government demonstrators.
Meanwhile, the U.S. has ordered personnel at a key U.S. base in Qatar to evacuate, further raising the prospect of possible military action.
