Image Credit: Scott Olson/Getty Images A mob of radical leftists gathered outside a federal facility in Minnesota to agitate and terrorize immigration authorities on Thursday morning.
The crowd marched to the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building at around 7 a.m. and began harassing agents outside.
The complex is home to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Fort Snelling Immigration Court, as well as the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies.
“Show your face” the mob demanded, chanting other phrases, including “ICE murders,” “Nazis out,” and “This is what democracy looks like.”
As agitators pursued federal vehicles exiting the facility, agents arrested several individuals who could be seen violently resisting and yelling.
“Go ahead, shoot me. Hurt me. Shame on you, I’m your grandmother,” a crazed elderly woman screamed at officers.
Tear gas was eventually deployed to disperse the howling mob.
Minneapolis Public Schools has canceled all classes and school-sponsored events for the remainder of the week.
Demonstrations are expected to continue throughout the weekend.
