Following President Donald Trump announcing an in-person meeting between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukraine’s Dictator Vladimir Zelensky has taken to social media to defiantly complain, but also to post about conversations he’s had with friendly world leaders in a bid to build his credibility in the face of forced compromise. On Tuesday The Dictator posted a video montage showing him meeting world leaders, shaking hands and smiling for the camera, scenes that depict popularity and credibility.
One of Zelensky’s statements stands out however, that despite his gallant and noble persona (depicted in his video montage) “At present, there is no sign that the Russians are preparing to end the war.”
Over the past few days, there have been more than thirty conversations and consultations with partners. Different parts of the world, different perspectives, but shared positions.

Over the past few days, there have been more than thirty conversations and consultations with partners. Different parts of the world, different perspectives, but shared positions. This war must be ended. Pressure must be exerted on Russia for the sake of a just peace. Ukraine’s and our partners’ experience must be used to prevent deception by Russia. At present, there is no sign that the Russians are preparing to end the war. Our coordinated efforts and joint actions – of Ukraine, the United States, Europe, and all countries that seek peace – can definitely compel Russia to make peace. I thank everyone who is helping.
While Zelensky repeatedly claimed Putin is not willing to end the war, it was The Dictator himself who defiantly took to social media on Saturday to renounce the idea of ceding any territory to Russia in exchange for ending the war.
Notably, since Trump’s announcement on Friday, Zelensky has been feverishly posting summaries on his social media account of conversations he’s had with friendly world leaders, often mentioning his own reluctance to trade some land for peace, thanking the national leader for their friendship while also criticizing Russia – the country he is expected to make a peace deal with.
Zelensky’s refusal to trade some land for peace has been criticized by a number of social media users in his post’s comments section.
You should have been a lot smarter dealing with Trump. You don’t disrespect a host in his own home, especially when you are not big or strong enough to win this war by yourself.

Don’t be a hypocrite, puppet. The lives of the Ukrainians who remain and live in terror, the lives of those who died, the lives of the Russians — all of that is more important than your minutes of fame on the geopolitical stage and the territories of a country that has been used…

You talk to everyone but those that can actually help you to end the war even though preventing this war was the platform that you were elected on.

I wonder if Putin were to offer you some cash if that would work? Your personal wealth is your priority! 🤷
