On Tuesday the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) issued a statement claiming officials from the U.S. and U.K. have secretly met key Ukrainian powerbrokers to discuss removing the country’s Dictator Vladimir Zelensky and replacing him with Ukraine’s former military chief Valery Zaluzhny.
The meeting was allegedly held at an Alpine resort and involved the head of the Ukrainian President’s office Andrey Yermak, the chief of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Directorate of Intelligence Kirill Budanov and Zaluzhny himself. Interestingly, Zaluzhny now serves as Kiev’s ambassador to London.
“The Americans and the British announced their decision to propose Zaluzhny to the Ukrainian presidency. Yermak and Budanov ‘snapped a salute,’ while securing promises from the Anglo-Saxons to let them keep their present positions, as well as to take their interests into account in the course of making decisions over other personnel issues,” the SVR said.
One of the main criticisms the group had of Zelensky was his attempted takeover of the country’s anti-corruption agencies, something the Dictator later backtracked on after mass protests broke out in the nation’s capital.

Despite public outcry, President Zelensky signed the bill after parliamentary approval. Protesters chanted “Hands off NABU” and called for a presidential veto. “…the agreement reached in the Alps sheds light onto the underlying cause of the recent scandalous attempt of the ‘president’ to restrict the powers of the local anti-corruption mechanisms,” the SVR said. “Clearing the political field for Zaluzhny, Yermak had ‘set up’ Zelensky, convincing him that such a step would not spoil Kiev’s relations with the Western partners, but actually had created a pretext for the West to start a campaign aimed at removing the ‘expired’ president from power for his ‘encroachment upon democracy’.”
TASS (the Russian News Agency) detailed the Russian government’s intelligence agency’s perspective on the matter:
The SVR also noted that the decision “became the main condition for ‘resetting’ Kiev’s relations with the Western partners, first of all Washington, and for a continuation of the Western aid to Ukraine in its confrontation with Russia.”
While Moscow’s ‘spooks’ claim that the move to boot Ukraine’s Dictator is to further enable war against Russia, it may also be a move necessary to end the war.
In February the SVR claimed that NATO was trying to remove Zelensky from power due to him being an obstacle to peace negotiations.
“Washington and Brussels agree that the main obstacle to the implementation of such a scenario is Zelensky, who is referred to in Western circles as nothing more than ‘expendable material,’” the SVR said in February. “…even NATO understands that Zelensky’s time is up.”
On Friday Infowars reported how previously-friendly corporate news media and politicians have turned on Zelensky, signaling Ukraine’s Dictator may be circling the proverbial toilet bowl.
