Image Credit: U.S. Navy / Handout / Getty Images A seventh US service member has been killed in Operation Epic Fury, the joint US-Israeli strikes against Iran.
The service member, whose name has not yet been released, was wounded during an attack against US troops in Saudi Arabia.
Four service members were killed after an Iranian drone hit the port of Shuaiba, Kuwait, on 1 March, a day after the war began.
U.S. Central Command announced two more deaths on 2 March.
The names of the fallen service members include Capt. Cody Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida, Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska, Sgt. Declan Coady, 20, of Des Moines, Iowa, Maj. Jeffrey R. O’Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, California.
The six soldiers who died last week were in the Army Reserve assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa.
President Donald Trump paid tribute to them on Saturday when their remains were brought back to the United States.
“They’re great heroes in our country, and we’re going to keep it that way,” Trump said.
