Footage of actress Sydney Sweeney visiting a gun range in California went viral, as the American Eagle company defended her “great jeans” ad that stoked controversy among the left.
The Taran Tactical company on Friday released a video of Sweeney training at its range interspersed with footage from her recent adverts.
Video shows Sweeney nailing every target in record time, prompting spectators to comment she performed impressively for a first-timer.
The gun range, located in an undisclosed location, is the same one used by other Hollywood celebrities, including Keanu Reeves, Michelle Rodriguez, Halle Berry and more.
Sweeney outraged the left this week by starring in several American Eagle jean advertisements, which leftists claimed were white supremacist propaganda.
“Because Sweeney has blonde hair and blue eyes, users have claimed that the ad was designed to promote eugenics or is a subtle nod to Nazi propaganda despite the fact that American Eagle has long been inclusive in its advertising and with a Jewish CEO at the helm,” noted The Hollywood Reporter.
Footage of the embattled actress supporting the Second Amendment dropped as American Eagle released a statement Friday standing by the ad and their model, writing in an Instagram post,
“Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story. We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.”
Commenting on the left’s losing strategy of labeling anyone who finds Sydney Sweeney attractive a Nazi, Vice President J.D. Vance on Friday suggested they review the playbook that lost them the 2024 election.
Despite the backlash against American Eagle, more companies are jumping on the “use-sexy-white-models-to-sell” bandwagon, with Dunkin’ Donuts the latest to send leftists into a meltdown over its choice of a white spokesman.
