President Donald Trump delivered an epic State of the Union address on Tuesday evening, celebrating his administration’s economic victories and the scores of dangerous illegal aliens removed from American streets while also bashing Democrats for siding with “undocumented” immigrants over citizens and stealing elections.
POTUS invited every legislator to stand up if they agreed that the “first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.”
While the majority of the room went wild in approval of the statement, every Democrat politician sat silently in their seats, causing Trump to say, “Isn’t that a shame? You should be ashamed of yourself not standing up.”
He continued, “That is why I’m also asking you to end deadly sanctuary cities that protect criminals and enact serious penalties for public officials who block the removal of criminal aliens, in many cases drug lords, murderers all over our country they’re blocking the removal of these people out of our country, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.”
Later in the address, the president told Supreme Court justices who voted against his tariff agenda that “despite the disappointing ruling,” the tariffs will remain in place by using alternative legal statutes.
Again targeting Democrats, POTUS rhetorically asked why anyone would be against voter ID, adding, “One reason, because they want to cheat!”
“They want to cheat, they have cheated and their policy is so bad that the only way they can get elected is to cheat and we have to stop it,” he stated.
Exposing the left for failing to keep violent repeat offenders in jail, Trump mentioned 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, who was killed last year by a career criminal while riding a North Carolina train.
The president introduced Iryna’s weeping mother as she sat in the audience, saying, “Mrs. Zarutska, tonight I promise you we will bring justice for your magnificent daughter, Iryna.”
Chief Warrant Officer Eric Slover was honored with a Congressional Medal of Honor during the event for his service after being wounded during the U.S. military raid that resulted in the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro.
In a street interview video going viral online, anti-Trump college students lied by claiming they watched the State of the Union, giving the speech a poor score despite the fact that they were being asked the day BEFORE the address.
