Vice President J.D. Vance joined The Benny Show hosted by conservative podcast host Benny Johnson on Friday, covering a slew of issues from the Senate’s refusal to pass the Save Act to Joe Rogan labeling “a lot” of MAGA supporters “dorks.”

The most viral part of the interview came when Vance was asked about “the UFO files,” with the VP saying he is “obsessed” with the topic but hasn’t had time to dive into it yet due to being preoccupied with national security and the economy.

“I’ve still got three more years as vice president. I will get to the bottom of UFO files,” he asserted. “I’ve got three years of the very tippy-top of the classification, and I’m going to get to the bottom of it.”

Vance said he has not been to Area 51 yet, but plans on going, and that he doesn’t believe in aliens but instead thinks “they’re demons.”

“I think that celestial beings who fly around who do weird things to people – I think that the desire to describe everything celestial, everything that is otherworldly, to describe it as aliens… I mean every great world religion including Christianity, the one that I believe in, has understood that there are weird things out there and there are things that are very difficult to explain,” he said. “I naturally go when I hear about sort of extra-natural phenomenon, that’s where I go to is the Christian understanding that there’s a lot of good out there, but there’s also some evil out there. And, I think that one of the Devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed.”

Asked if he’d cast the deciding vote to pass the Save Act, which would require “documentary proof of United States citizenship” to register to vote in federal elections, Vance said he’d love to help push the bill through.

However, Vance noted, “The problem is we do not have 50 senators, not who would vote for the Save Act, but who would overrule the filibuster.”

“I would bet every dollar that I own that the next time Democrats have control in the Senate, they will break the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, and destroy this country. We have to do it now in order to save the country,” he added.

Johnson mentioned a recent Joe Rogan podcast where the UFC commentator, podcaster and comedian alleged the Obama administration was better at deporting illegals than the Trump admin, and Vance said the claim is inaccurate.

“When you look at the deportation numbers that go back to the Obama administration, they would count somebody who was turned away at the border as a deportation,” he explained. “Now, we have almost nobody showing up at the border because the border is secure.”

“So, if you have somebody show up at the border, let them cross into our country, provide them some free medical care and free food and then you send them home, that counted as a deportation. What we’re talking about is interior deportations. We’re taking the flood of people that Joe Biden let into our country and getting them out of our country,” Vance stated.

The VP claimed the Obama administration and others “weren’t doing a tenth” of what the Trump White House is doing.

Johnson chimed in, saying, “Joe [Rogan] says MAGA is full of dorks. What do you think? Do you consider yourself a dork? Because, MAGA’s dorks.”

Laughing, Vance replied, “I think we’ve got many many fewer dorks than the far-left. Everybody’s got some dorks, we love our dorks, we love our cool kids, we love anybody who wants to save the country.”

At one point, Johnson asked Vance for an update on White House claims that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) “married her brother” and committed “immigration fraud,” which would be a “deportable, denaturalization offense.”

Vance answered, “We actually think that Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America. And, I talked to Stephen Miller about this recently. We’re trying to look at what the remedies are… What are the legal remedies now that we know she’s committed immigration fraud? How do you go after her? How do you build a case necessary to get some justice for the American people?”

He also suggested there should be an investigation into Omar’s knowledge of the vast fraud taking place in Minnesota, such as the infamous “Quality Learing Center.”

Vance said, “So, I’m worried about the immigration fraud and I’m also worried about what did Ilhan Omar know about what was happening in the Somali community and why did nobody look into it until, frankly, Donald Trump came along?”
