Disturbing footage being shared online shows the moment a black teenager brutally stabbed a white schoolmate in the face with a pair of scissors in the cafeteria of an Atlanta high school on Friday.
The victim was hospitalized following the attack, with video showing a large pool of blood spilling onto the floor.

Bystanders shrieked and urged the assailant to “chill,” as the stabber shouted, “White bitch!” and repeatedly lunged towards the other student.
Messages posted alongside the video on social media allege the victim is autistic.
Atlanta Public Schools issued a statement, reading, “One student sustained an injury involving a pair of scissors. School staff responded to secure the area, ensure the safety of all students, and provide care to the injured student, who is currently being treated at a local hospital. This was an isolated incident involving only the two students. No other students were involved, and there is no ongoing threat to students or staff.”
North Atlanta High School was put on a “soft lockdown” due to the incident and APS said charges for the attacker are pending.
There are no current updates on the status of the hospitalized student.
In April 2025, 17-year-old Austin Metcalf was fatally stabbed at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, allegedly by a black student named Karmelo Anthony.
The murder caused outrage across America, and Anthony’s murder trial is set to begin June 1, 2026.
